Black Lives & American Policing
The murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Rayshard Brooks and countless other Black Americans killed at the hands of law enforcement have sparked a new wave of activism and calls for transformative, systemic change that affirms Black lives and radically re-imagines public safety and our communities' relationship with law enforcement.
The YEO Network stands for Black lives and has long supported our members -- especially the members of our Black Caucus -- to advance solutions to police violence in Black communities.
At such an important moment in our history and an equally critical moment for change, our members are stepping up and we are working to tell their stories and support their work on behalf of people and entire communities for whom justice is long overdue.
Leading the Way
YEO Network members at every level of government are leading the way and seizing this moment in our history to transform systems and build community around our shared values. We're proud to share with our members and leaders across the nation the groundbreaking and bold policy solutions being advanced by our nation's young elected leaders. Want to submit a policy?
