FLLA Class of 2008

Congratulations to the incoming class of Front Line Leaders Academy Fellows. After weeks of reviewing applications, conducting interviews and evaluating the most diverse stream of applicants ever to apply for the Front Line Leaders Academy (FLLA), we are pleased to announce the selection of our new class. More than ninety individuals from 25 states applied to be part of the 2008-2009 FLLA class. Almost 60 percent of the application pool was from traditionally marginalized communities.
The result of this amazing applicant pool is the most diverse and community-minded class of fellows we have had. They were chosen to participate in this intense eight-month curriculum because they demonstrated the potential and desire to some day run for office or take on a leadership role within a campaign and in their diverse communities.
